We're coming up to a season ending in 9, and which will be 10 seasons since Chorley were last in the Premier Division – here are a few milestones:

Season 1878-79 (rugby days) North of England Challenge Cup winners
Season 1898-99 Lancashire League champions
Season 1908-09 Lancashire Trophy winners
Season 1928-29 Lancashire Combination champions
Season 1948-49 Lancashire Combination title runners-up
Season 1958-59 Lancashire Trophy & Combination Cup double
Season 1978-79 FA Cup 1st Round Proper, Junior Cup finalists
Season 1988-89 Lancashire Trophy finalists
Season 2008-09 One better than 2008 Lancashire Trophy finalists? A surge towards promotion? Overdue runs in FA Cup and/or FA Trophy?Back to top
