Adam Roscoe strikes for Burscough

Postby Charlie Magpie » Sun Jul 27, 2008 11:43 pm

Former Chorley striker, Adam Roscoe scored his first goal for Burscough in their pre-season friendly at Skelmersdale United.

Quote from the report on the Burscough website;

"Just after the mid way point of the half the Linnets doubled their lead when substitutes David Brooks and Adam Roscoe combined. The former laying a ball into the feet of Roscoe who appeared surrounded by Blue shirts. However, he weaved a path across the face of the penalty area to create some room for himself before 'cracking' a low shot into the corner of the net. beyond the outstretched hand of Ian Lowe now in the home goal."

Burscough seem to be re-building successfully after losing their manager and most of their players to Southport. Good luck Adam, hope he secures a regular place in the Burscough starting eleven.
