UniBond Fair Play Award 2008-09

Newcastle BS top the Fair Play Award league with 2 yellow cards in 4 matches, and win the award for August. CHORLEY and Colwyn Bay share second place with identical records - 2 yellow cards in 3 matches.

How fantastic to see a league table with Chorley in second place!

Let's hope we can maintain this performance with no un-necessary yellow and red cards in future matches this season. The end-of-season prize of £1,000 would go some way to making up for the loss of FA Cup income.

The bottom 3 in the table in descending order are Clitheroe 10Y 1R, Ossett Albion 7Y 2R and Garforth 11Y 1R. All 3 teams have played 4 matches. With any luck, Clitheroe may have players suspended by the time they come to VP in a few weeks time!

KEEP UP THE GOOD RECORD, CHORLEY, THIS IS ONE LEAGUE WE COULD WIN IF WE APPLY SOME SELF-CONTROL AND DISCIPLINE!!
