I like how they've used a picture of him in a Chorley shirt from 5 years ago, could they not find one of him at one of his 481 other clubs?

Funny that the picture shows him in a Chorley shirt but doesn't name us as one of his former clubs :?

Porya Ahmadi could probably show Shelton Payne how to get to Wales as he is now with Bangor City.

Shelton Payne has now left Curzon Ashton. Are there any clubs in the Manchester area he hasn't played for now?

As I've said already on the Cartwright thread, bad choice for Keil.

FA Cup hero Sam Sheridan m-o-m in Sporting Kalsa v FC United. For a second week Sheridan's influence reported in The Non League Paper. Where did we go wrong?

We'll see...

Smyth was no better at centre back than Teague, Charnock, Ross or Doyle; Sheridan didn't look the player his reputation lead us to think he might be and Winter's reputation went before him with the officials!!!

I agree entirely with their releases at the time if their release and now they come together at a club struggling far more than we are!. Good luck to FCUM!

Consider this....
I've picked a team from players that have left since the end of last season.

Grundy
(Jacobs) Smyth Flynn Dodd
Dorney Winter Sheridan Mather
Burns Almond

Manager : G.Flitcroft

O.K - I've cheated a bit because I couldn't think of a R.Back - Jacobs went a while ago, and Dodd/Dorney/Almond? technically still our players (will we ever see any of them again?), but I reckon this lot would beat us at the moment.

I see your point Locki, but on that basis Smyth was as good as Teague & Charnock and therefore offered a competition for places/ opportunity to change personnel that we no longer have. We knew Doyle's loan was coming to an end.
Sheridan didn't become a bad player, he just wasn't used to his potential and as for Harry Winter; everything our team is lacking at the moment he has in buckets.
When I said it could end badly for us I was inferring if these three click at FC our backside will get bitten big time in March. Look what happened last time we played a team with three of our ex players in it.

Chris Smalley to Stockport from Kendal-assume it's the same guy who used to play for us. Might have been an option for us?

New signing Liam Goulding is the son of ex-Magpie Derek. Who was the last father & son pair to play for the Magpies (if any have)?

Was Jack Cudworth the son of Nigel? Dave Liptrot's son had a trial with us I think but I don't know if he ever played a match.

Geography is something I like to say I'm good at, correct me if I'm wrong but Hednesford is really nowhere near Wales? This guy could make his own film with the journey he's had going home.
