There was no way CMW was going to be re-signed apparently, if only on fitness issues let alone anything else. Note that Jordan Southworth scored for Prescot Cables and Deano if I remember correctly for Trafford on Saturday. And Sefton netted for Clitheroe. On another note , whatever is the very talented Jerome Wright doing at Ramsbottom (and scoring at the weekend)? Now there's a player who could have contributed to a more exciting style here at CFC!

My thoughts too, about Wright, class act. Don't understand why MJ gave CMW an hour in the game against Wrexham if he was never going to be signed!

Yes that could have been an hour spent trying out a young player from within the club, if only to give him the experience.

Regarding louis Myers.... if Jansen wants to wear blinkers he deserves all he gets.
Louis had had 2 MOM performances and 2 assists and scored 1 goal not bad for 5 games...as a club I think he needs to look closer to home for new talent
I don't know what the purpose of the dev squad is if he doesn't use it..

I agree with you boo. Perhaps someone will ask the question at the Forum tomorrow!

No point to the forum, they will dole out the same old platitudes, low budget, get back to basics etc etc. Jansen is not interested in our own young players but brings in kids from outside. Hughes is short of game time, so he gets 10 minutes over the course of the last 2 games.

Reading the comments that smithy said regarding louis,it was never about money he was told in preseason the he didn't fit into there plans for this season so he was left with no other option other thn to leave...much to his disappointment as he really enjoyed his short time with the club. But as a player he felt he needed first team football,it just so happens that he impressed that much they offered him more money than chorley could .

It wasn't that Myers didn't fit into the club's plans. When he returned for pre season he wasn't fit. He was told that he wouldn't be offered a deal until he could prove his fitness. It would appear that he is now playing for a club in Scotland where (as I understand it) his family now live
