United Cooperatives Back Ossett Town 25/08/2006

Ossett Town Football Club have announced that United Co-operatives will be new sponsors for the 2006/07 season after agreeing a five-figure deal that includes home and away shirt sponsorship, external and internal ground advertising, and programme features.

Club Officials, team players and a representative from United Co-operatives unveiled the new ‘Co-operative’ sponsored kit at the ground in Prospect Road, Ossett before the first home game of the season against Fleetwood Town, last weekend.

Graham Willis, Commercial Manager, said: “This is excellent news for Ossett Town FC. United Co-operatives operate very successful food and travel businesses in the Town and now are pleased to have a local retailer supporting the Club. This sponsorship deal will help us to begin to implement our exciting plans for the future of the Club”
