Not a bad result. Did they put out a team of kids or something? We looked pretty close to full strength.

Solid all-round performance with lots of positives.We are looking like a unit.
Marcus worked his socks off.Top player.
Waqas Azam has potential.
But, lets not fool ourselves, this Bolton side were not a patch on the team Wigan sent last week.

Bolton U21's, or at least what's left of them. I had this from someone who was until recently close to that side:
"I was just looking at the teams, that's a very poor Bolton team , the little Iranian lad up front is meant to be the main lad now, not strong enough against men though..."

That said, six goals may have gone some way to addressing the concerns posed on here about goal scoring. My correspondent at the game was impressed with WA too.
