Tamworth Non-League Day

Postby reco » Tue Aug 30, 2016 10:14 pm

Sam and the rear guard are going to have to be on their toes this Saturday at the Lamb as Tamworth have scored 5 goals in each of their last two games. Can be an interesting battle as both teams are having fine starts to the season.

Looks like Tamworth aren't lowering their prices for Non-League day to encourage new fans to go or even thank the supporters who go every week. But £12 for an adult isn't too bad to get in I guess.

Outstanding performance, result and support for CFC.
Poor surface (4G not the answer IMO) and referee.

The defence is brilliant, midfield top class and the forwards create lots of chances -just need to convert a few more.We are winning and deserving to, and quietly climbing the table.
Not quiet in the vocal support though -great atmosphere created by the Magpies' following today -really enjoyable. COYM!

Really good away day today, very good first half performance, we looked like the home side for 45 minutes. Superb defending again in second half, the support was something else today, particularly second half. Have to mention Kieran Charnock, he was absolutely rock solid again today in a terrific back three/five, also thought Will Beesley was terrific. Battling performance again up front with a super strike rom Jason Walker, Marcus worked like a Trojan again, Jake covered every inch of the field again ably supported in midfield and the subs played their part. Oh, nearly forgot, Sam made a terrific triple save, you'll never beat Sam Ashton!
Up to fifth, 6 clean sheets, well done to Matt and the management team, superb signings this season, roll on Tuesday, 3 more points at Alty. Oh and a bit of a bonus, Louis Myers, on loan at Rammy opened his account with a goal for them! What is not to like! COYM
