FA Trophy draw

Postby reco » Mon Nov 14, 2016 12:24 pm

FA Trophy draw today sees us and all of our fellow step 2 clubs enter the competition.

A good run in the competition would be nice and if NFU can win the Trophy a couple of seasons ago then there is no reason why Chorley can't do the same in 2017.

Draw is set to be announced around lunchtime so could be any time between 12 and about 1pm.

Stafford had been struggling in the NPL but on a good run of form at the minute don't think they have lost since early October and Hednesford's manager has just left this morning for Solihull and have a new manager in place.

Can't ask for anything more than a home draw. We were due a change of fortune in that respect. I think it's preferable to a tie against another National North team - there were six of those.

Hope no one from the club wasted their time to watch Stafford tonight, as they fielded pretty much a reserve team.
