Gloucester City v Chorley FC

When your team doesn't win, you start to doubt things about them, it's natural.

What I don't doubt is we had the LOUDEST fans that we've had at this level. It even topped 200 at Stalybridge but we never stopped singing at Cheltenham today. I really believe had we have been as quiet as we are at home, we would've been beaten today.

I think you are right Ian, terrific support today, shame it won't be like that next Saturday on a vitally important game. Thought we did well in the end after the sending off. Easy to feel wise after but perhaps the choice of Jordan was a mistake today. COYM

I think we showed today we can play with a flat back 4 very comfortably. Maybe more so even better. We definitely put Gloucester under pressure in the second half more under this formation. I think we should give it a go on Saturday against Halifax.

Why do those who make such a noise at away games not do the same at home games?

Something to do with the concentration of fans in a small area. A lot of teams are like that.

Smashing day out and a great result in the end.
Very gutsy after we went down to 10.
We know what we need to do now, and will need to show similar guts to beat Halifax and secure the playoffs next week.
Big game...

I wasn't at the match, so I don't know how 'deserved' the sending-off was, but is their any chance of an appeal that might (at least) delay the inevitable suspension until after next week's game?

Lawsyd, if you listen to Matt's after match interview he said the red was correct, no grounds for appeal in my view.

In fairness (it's probably something I should start doing) I never listen to the post match interview. Thanks for the info in your post.
