Coach travel to Halifax.......

I called at the club office today and booked my seat on the coach for next Saturday. Coach number SIX was almost fully booked, and Jono was in the process of arranging another 4 coaches, giving us a grand total of TEN official coaches for the journey to Halifax.

Robert was rushed off his feet in the office with the phone ringing constantly and there was a steady stream of people calling in the office to reserve and pay for places on the coaches.

There should be sufficient places on the coaches for all supporters who want to travel but, in order to give Rob and Jono a clear indication of numbers, it would help them if seats were booked as soon as possible.

The information from the official club website is as follows;

Departure: Saturday May 13th @ 12.30pm (3pm KO)
Leaving from Duke Street/Brindle Street
Price:
£10 per seat
Travel Rules
No alcohol will be permitted on the coach, bags may be searched and bottles checked for contents.
Under 16’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult
Stewards will be travelling on each coach
Seats must be booked in advance, ring 01257 230007. Office hours 10am to 3pm, please leave a message and you will be called back if there is no answer.

If you are travelling by coach, please arrive at Duke Street/Brindle Street about 12 noon so that names can be checked and the coaches boarded in an orderly fashion. They will depart promptly at 12.30pm and will not wait for anyone who is late. With over 500 supporters travelling on the official coaches, car parking around Victory Park will be very tight so please plan your journey and parking well in advance.

What a magnificent sight it will be as the convoy of Chorley coaches heads over the Pennines to Halifax!
