Not long until the fixtures for the new season are released, about 1.00pm today.

Go on, take a punt, who do you think we will play on the opening day, Saturday, 5th August?

I'll go for Leamington v Chorley.

So many great games to look forward to this season, can't wait!

Kiddy away.
Tough first 6 weeks playing most of top teams.
Blyth on a Tuesday evening is a bit tough.

Absolutely right! By the end of August one sixth of the 42 league fixtures will have been completed. Too much too soon in my opinion. I think the midweek trip to Blyth was almost inevitable as we are, geographically, among the nearest clubs to Northumberland (though for such as Harrogate and York a run up the A1 is more straightforward). The first two games are certainly as tough as they come.

Have to play the likes of Kidderminster and Salford sometime so perhaps to our advantage to play them early before their relatively new squads settle down, this is particularly true of Salford but Kidderminster have added a whole new defence! COYM, let's hit the ground running.

Agreed. We may need a few points in the bag by Christmas as by then the fitness of FT teams may start to show.
