Salford

A fantastic result which will certainly get the rest of the league sitting up and taking notice.
We seem to raise our game every time we play the better teams, who would have thought it after last week. Obviously the result today needs to be celebrated, but let's hope we can also start to nail the games against the teams below us.

Battered them, could have been 6 or 7. We owed them that after last years robbery in injury time.

Salford have made a good job of the new ground but the pitch is the same old bog it always was and they need to do something about car parking - a shocker - arrived at 2:10pm and had to park a third of a mile away from the ground.

It will be interesting to see how much this hammering takes out of their confidence for the second half of the season.

Absolutely battered them from start to finish! Agree it should have been 6, very well done for setting the team up in 3-5-2 format, both their main strikers withdrawn second half, Carver made Piergianni look like a donkey today, the whole team were fantastic. Have to say this, Dale Whithams return made one hell of a difference, what a strong bench today, well balanced too. Brilliant performance, COYM

Have to agree. Whole team was excellent today, but Dale was magnificent, hope he's not injured himself again...
