Trouble in the Blue Sq

Postby reco » Sun Jun 12, 2011 8:21 am

As many people know it was the Blue Square AGM yesterday
Rushden n D were kicked out of the premier giving Southport a reprieve meaning that they remain in the pinnacle of Non-league football. It also mean that Bishop Stort will be moving into the Blue Sq North next season but their ground is near stansted airport and it is 600 miles round trip to Workington and back. So they have threaten to resign from the Blue SQ league now meaning that Stafford will be repieved back into the Blue SQ North leaving us with 21 teams again or will this force the evo-stik to push Burscough out in order to keep the numbers even. What do you lot this about this?
I personally think that league's should go with what the FA tell them to go makes everything easy.

Ted Rodgers would have been proud to use that explanation as one of his clues on 3-2-1 !!!

You need to wise up Fc Utd. ... next you'll be saying FC Utd deserve a place in the BSN as losing finalists in the Playoffs!

It'll be interesting to see where R&D end up and at what level they will reform (if in fact they do). They have a super stadium so I would imagine they'll get preferential treatment just as Chester did. The precedent has been set !
