All the bits of the Victoria Stadium are up for sale, looks like the site is being cleared

There's a terrace there that wouldn't look bad on the Ashby Street site and it was originally built with the ability to easily dismantle and move!

Just looking at the architect drawings no, working out how easy it would be to shift.

I'm sure the residents of Ashby street would have a complaint if that was erected in their "back-yard"

But isn't that the fact of why we don't have covered terracing on Ashby Street side because of the residents?

I don't think the club has every applied for planning permission to build on the Ashby Street side due to the cost, so until that ever happens we won't know the response of the residents. The club did look at terracing it once, but it was cheaper (and more fashionable at the time) to put floodlights up!

No doubt there would be objections along the lines due to their "right to light" as anything substantially bigger then the current banking height would no doubt put them in the shadows.
