Yesterday's Liverpool Echo reports that Tuck has pleaded guilty to an offence under the Communications Act.

Tuck has today been jailed for 12 weeks having been found guilty earlier this month.
Witton Albion have still to make a statement about his future employment with the club.

Only 12 weeks. With good behaviour he should be out of prison for the start of the season.

Ironic that Skem's next match ... and presumably Tuck's first game back in their colours is against ....

Witton

Honestly, you couldn't make up this script

What are the odds on a Tuck hat-trick or him to be sent off?

A sending off would suit me - would be banned for our game at Stormy Corner a week tomorrow

Don't forget Paul, suspensions only kick in 2 full weeks after the incident, so if the racist we're to get sent off tomorrow, it'd be from the 24th he'd be suspended.

VAUXHALL MOTORS HAVE SIGNED SHAUN TUCK

Just last week, Tuck was paraded in front of the crowd at Bangor City as a new signing, made an interview with Radio Bangor and commented on their Facebook page that he had signed for the club. According to a Bangor fan, 'Fans found out about his past and uproar ensued. Bangor chairman stepped inn to claim he had not and would not be signing Tuck.'

The controversial striker said on his own Facebook page that he had made a rash decision in signing for Bangor and would jump at the chance of returning to Witton.

It has now been officially announced that Motors have signed prolific striker Shaun Tuck from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League side Skelmersdale United.

Skem had re-signed Tuck in September 2013 after league rivals Witton Albion cancelled his contract, which was due to expire at the end of the current campaign.

The 27 year old left Witton after scoring twenty-six goals in fifty-three appearances.

Tuck initially arrived at Skelmersdale midway through the 2011/12 season from Cammell Laird and ended the campaign as the NPL First Division North's top scorer. He has also played for Marine.

Upon confirming the signing, Vauxhall manager Carl Macauley said ‘I know Shaun has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons this year but he’s learnt from his mistakes and has promised me it won’t happen again. On the field, he is a natural goalscorer and I want to give him his chance at this level.’

He added ‘my job as manager of Vauxhall Motors Football Club is to identify players who can improve the team and I hope Shaun can be the goalscorer we’ve needed this season and grabs this opportunity with both hands.’
