With Sheridan & Winter. This could end badly for us :-/

We'll see...

Smyth was no better at centre back than Teague, Charnock, Ross or Doyle; Sheridan didn't look the player his reputation lead us to think he might be and Winter's reputation went before him with the officials!!!

I agree entirely with their releases at the time if their release and now they come together at a club struggling far more than we are!. Good luck to FCUM!

Fc didn't struggle yesterday.

An ex-Magpie made his international debut this week in a World Cup qualifier. Can anyone name him and which country he played for?

It would indeed.
There is a short biog. on Leicester's website, and also an excellent article on The Guardian's website if you search for him.His contribution to Chelsea's development is underestimated.
Steve and his brother Mickey (Blackpool,Porto and ROI) grew up in Chorley and I think were part of the well renowned St.Gregories Sunday league set up.
Not sure about Steve's playing record with the Magpies..........can anyone help?

Change of plan he is now at 1874 Northwich. I make it 4 clubs already this season for Shelton Payne.

How many clubs has that lad had.
Trafford
Chorley
Colwyn Bay
FCUM
Hednesford
Ashton United

Plus all the clubs he had before he joined us.

Have absolutely no recollection of him whatsoever. Nothing. Not even a faint "oh yeah, that lad".

Darren Stephenson - 6 games in the squad, 6 times on the bench - 2 minutes played - 0 goals.

Can we have him back on loan?
