Speaking to their supporters on station, today's team included several who won' necessarily play in playoffs.
They regularly rotate their squad.
Denton is often not included.

We seemed to lack a cutting edge up front.
A pacey forward to cut through Halifax's big defence today might have helped.Worth having one or two u 21s on bench to bring on perhaps.

Today good to see Adam back... that livened things up.

The playoffs are one off games, Kidderminster's away form is poor, a couple of goals to take back to Aggborough should see us through. Guiseley were 5th when we last played in the playoffs and look what happened them.

I've every confidence we can reset ourselves ready for Wednesday and get a good lead (2 goals will do) to take back to Aggborough.

Precisely! It's been something of a problem all season, hence our comparatively low total in the 'Goals For' column which could have proved costly in the final reckoning. I hope and trust that our very astute management team, who deserve our respect and appreciation for a great season's work, have this problem in hand ahead of next season. We also need a crafty midfielder too. We saw one when we played Altrincham here. Great effort today against a very physical uncompromising side, the sort Billy Heath specialises in. Don't let anybody tell me -as some were suggesting after the Stalybridge match - that we are a bunch of toughs! Our lads did very well to handle the rough stuff being dished out today. Having said that, I think Halifax are the form team right now and I would not be at all surprised if they went on to win the play-offs. Terrific atmosphere today and our fans were superb -their togetherness and loud encouragement was more like an away-day. We need a similar show on Wednesday. I expect us to do better against Kidderminster who from what I have seen are obviously talented but don't possess the Halifax brand of physicality.
