Enough about the fa cup for now! We've got a game today that we need to win. It's certainly a game that we must win to keep up the chase. Hopefully we will go back to the way we played in the last 2 home games. Go out and attack them from the off. Hopefully josh Wilson will be up for it against his old club. He was a touch lazy last week in cup. A big performance needed today

Think we got that today -great determination and bloody minded "they shall not pass" mentality in the last third of the game when we were down to 10 men, typified by Teaguey's clenched fists and verbal encouragement in the heart of the defence.

Should really have been out of sight in the FH -some lovely passing and movement from all the players -but then the Anson sending off and subsequent penalty changed the game and we were up against it. No doubt about the players' attitude in this match -well done to all.

And great to see Marcus getting two -thoroughly deserved.

Agree with Paul's comments, but have got to commend Matt and his team for staying positive and not replacing one of our forward four for a defender.Being brave and reaped the reward, well done.

I think Matt summed up this one perfectly; 'character, togetherness and resolve' got us through a very difficult second-half situation - in other words the old-style excellent defensive screen did its job, so much so that despite the Telford pressure Matt Urwin didn't have to pull off a major save. Had Jason put away his penalty and made it three before half-time it would have been game over. I suspect Telford had watched a few videos and noted where Jason put his penalty against Darlington. No disrespect to Jason but I would like to see Adam Blakeman take a penalty and really put his foot through the ball. Adam Anson (otherwise playing very well again) was unlucky to see red in my view but he will learn from the experience not to dwell on the ball in a tight situation inside his own penalty area. The referee was poor and too prone to produce the yellow card, notably in the case of Marcus Carver who surely had one of his best games for us. He took his second goal really well. Slight concern about the pitch which seemed to be developing its familiar bobbles rather too early in the season. Credit to one and all, on-field and pitch-side, for achieving such a good result on what proved to be a difficult afternoon's work.
