Let's celebrate.
1-0 gives us 47 points
We are now mathematically safe from relegation as Ossett could only get 46 before today. |

| Bit nervy towards the end as they got a couple of corners and Zac Hibbert saved many a shot, but we hung in and ground out another single-goal win! UP THE MAGPIES!!! |

One that Radcliffe will feel they should have got something from -MoM Zac H saved at least three times when their number 9 should have scored -all credit to Zac and in the old saying "if you don't take your chances ..."
Wayne M was also great today -as usual -and the whole team worked very hard to get the result. We did create plenty of opportunities ourselves but were not able to put any more away.
Excellent finish from Danny N to put us ahead -50th of the season- and good to see Burkey on as a second half sub.
Second best gate in the league again today.
Well done lads -now put up a good performance in Halifax please.

| Another solid performance against a team above us in the league, but I must say Zak Hibbert did us proud in goal, making some brilliant saves. Bring on Halifax and another win for us, unfortunately that's one game I shall miss, but come on the Magpies! |

Good to hear that we are safe from the drop - always an important moment in our season and one that usually comes a lot later on, if at all. Remember the late double over Willenhall when Shaun Teale was in charge which kept us up?
Today was not the most exciting game ever, but thanks to Radcliffe's Wharton, who had a real stinker, we managed to keep a clean sheet. The enduring image of this game is him holding his head in his hands. Hibbert naturally played his part but Radcliffe (Wharton)'s finishing was appalling. It was good to see an all too rare goal from Nolan too. |

to be honest I disagree with Ian when they had the corner I werent worrying because they werent doing enough to score
anyway onwards and upward lets put in a decent display v Halifax and we never know we might nick a point or all three which would be nice.
COME ON CHORLEY |

When you've been watching Chorley as long as I have, it's ALWAYS nervy when it comes down to the last couple of minutes 1-0 up.
I dont think the ball entered Radcliffe's half during that time and they got two corners on the bounce and Hibbert saved well from one of them.
Still though, an excellent performance all round, Radcliffe were as poor as when we outplayed them at their place in August, and on another day, the result couldve been far different. |

| Incidentally Mark, we did indeed do the double over Willenhall (3-0 and 2-1), but were safe due to Rocester's lack of points (6 at the time) and one team going down |
