Information for local companies
The Magpies Trust is looking to establish links with local businesses and to develop mutually
beneficial sponsorship opportunities. Chorley Football Club - now guided by ex-Premiership
player-manager, Shaun Teale - has high expectations for the coming season.
We are working with a number of local companies to find ways, through football, that local
firms can become more involved with the community. Matchday hospitality packages to entertain
customers and suppliers or to reward employees can be arranged, along with broader community
schemes.
Helping young people in the Borough
The Trust is committed to football development in Chorley. Close links have been established with
Chorley Borough Council. We plan to put in place a cohesive long-term plan to get local youngsters involved in football,
and to help them progress as far as they want to.
As a first step, a
three day coaching course was held in mid-August. Chorley FC has also
linked up with local side Brinscall Village JFC as the Trust seeks to put the club at the centre of the local community where it belongs.
