What do I get for joining the Magpies Trust?
Each member receives a membership pack. This contains a membership card and a wealth of information on Chorley FC, such as a handy list of this season's fixtures.
The Trust is a not-for-profit company owned entirely by its members. If you are over 16, your membership includes an equal share in the Trust, and you will receive a share certificate in your membership pack.
The Trust plans to negotiate a range of offers and discounts to bring real benefits to its members, and news of these will be publicised on this website, in the club programme and in local media as they are put into place.
How can I join the Trust?
You can join the Trust by downloading one of the forms
below, printing and completing it and returning it to the Club Shop on matchdays, any Working Group member or by post to the address shown on the form. Membership lasts for a season. If you have any questions about membership, address them

Ways to pay
If possible, please consider paying for your membership by standing order. It saves the Trust time and money and makes administration much easier. You can download a standing order form here. Alternatively, we accept cheques payable to "The Magpies Trust" or of course cash.

Benefits of Membership
Get into coaching for free
The Magpies Trust is offering funding to budding football coaches to sit a Lancashire FA Level One course. This is an introductory level qualification costing £75, and the Magpies Trust will cover the entire amount for the successful applicant. The course covers First Aid, Child Protection, the Laws of the Game and a variety of practical coaching skills. You can read more about this qualification at the
FA's website.
Two places are on offer this season, one of which has already been taken up, so those interested should waste no time in getting their applications in. Successful applicants will be expected to use their qualifications for the benefit of football in the Chorley area, and conditions will apply to the grant. For example, you will be expected to remain a member of the Trust for a few seasons after we have funded your coaching qualification. The Trust plans to offer this funding every season, and hopes to expand the offer to cover higher level coaching qualifications.
This benefit is only on offer to members of the Trust. You can join by downloading a membership form from
this page, then get in touch via this website or in writing to make your application, explaining why you think you should get the funding. If you aren't successful, you can always apply again next season, and if you are, this could be the first step towards a fulfilling new career.
Corporate Membership
Corporate membership is available to companies wishing to show their support of football in the Chorley area for £100 per season. This entitles you to a wide range of benefits and publicity opportunities.
For example, you can have your company name and/or Logo mentioned in:
- Leaflet drops on all new housing developments in the Borough (areas covered to date include parts of Buckshaw Village and Gillibrand).
- a regular Newsletter issued to all Trust members.
- Any other publicity material (such as local press advertising) produced by the Magpies Trust, where possible.
You can also have your name, logo and a link to your website on this site and
www.magpiesinspace.co.uk, the unofficial website of Chorley FC.
In addition, each Corporate Member will be invited to a home league match during the season as a guest of the Magpies Trust.
